As I seek the wisdom to spread Your Word
I wonder what method to use,
Should I rap about Biblical facts?
Or teach doctrines which often confuse,
Or should I make You an underlying theme
Woven cleverly throughout my positive speech,
Or should I spit scriptures over hip-hop chords
Used mainly as a vehicle to teach,
Should I tell of my constant struggles with sin?
And the lessons of Your grace untold,
Or should I hide my sins beneath the surface
Leaving ends loose that eventually unfold,
As I seek Your answers to my many questions
Young people are dying in this hip-hop nation,
Then thru His Spirit, My God gives me TheTask
My Child you must Educate thru Illustration.
