Supportless

© By Jason Taylor

In your mind, she was the garden of life’s reflection
The embodiment of the core essence needed to sustain
Acres of floral patterns intertwine throughout her complexion
Casting a shadow of colors the world may contain

You consumed the flesh from her fruits of lust
Reaped her spoils yet exhausted no labor
Placed in a new existence and eager to adjust
Unaware to the fact you were doing her a favor

Her appearance was nothing more than an outer facade
Deeply hiding her inner intentions from being seen
Doing all she could to draw you away from God
Removed your crutch of support on which to lean

She left you spiritually dead, now manually inclined
And watches as you progressively get worse over time
