Caught in the middle between a rock and a hard place
I've been pulled, pushed and tugged
Tucked, stuck, and out of luck
Because of people, places and things
It's these things that will have me to flip decisions
Stay unfocused on my overall mission
As a matter of fact, I don't even know what it is
I've had so many voices talking to me
That my mission took a back seat
Because of people, places and things
Pulled, to go from place to place
Why don't I have the sense to know?
Or to just say NO! Is it love for others?
Or just a selfish love, trying to care for brothers
I need to pull myself together for my own benefit
Pushed, from peer pressure
Hey look, this would be good for you

Call or Act now, I need to stop watching so much T.V.
But this is everyday living with marketing philosophies
Tugged, from friends who want to just hang
I have to pay attention to my Bible, read where Jesus
States, I'm the way, the truth and the life
But my way was to my buddy's crib, my truth
Is I only have 10 minutes to read, my life, it is hectic indeed
Tucked, under a rock with my gifts and all
The only thing that shines is my eyes craving a tomorrow
I will get it right then, no way will I mess up
I will be on my way, tomorrow...
Stuck, in a loophole that sounds like a remix to a song
And someone hit the replay button
Stuck like a car spinning the tires in the mud
Stuck from being overly frustrated and irritated
Stuck, because I need to find my way home
Out of Luck, to find out that the reason why I'm here was the decisions
That I made, it was a wild game
That was played which left me feeling dismayed
I don't like dancing with the enemy
I'm out of time, I repent, confused, broken and bent
I come to God, that's who I am searching for
I come to God, He is all that I need
Take the advice of Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom first and it's righteousness
And eventually you will encounter peace with
People, places and things.
