Jehovah's Witnesses claim the following:

"Jehovah's Witnesses who faithfully follow God's organization on earth (the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Jehovah’s Witnesses) and study the bible and preach door-to-door (THE WORKS) like Jesus, you will be saved from eternal death and live-forever on Paradise Earth."

What is this religion and is any of this biblical? The Word of God is going to show you how the JWs don’t line up with scripture. But first, you have to go to the beginning. Who started this religion?

Charles Taze Russell

1852-1916, founder of the movement whose followers were known as Russellites, as Bible Students, and (since 1931) as Jehovah's Witnesses, b. Pittsburgh, Pa. There he predicted (1872) the second coming of Christ and the millennium. In 1878 he organized his followers as an independent church. His teachings were spread through the Watch Tower, which Russell began to publish in 1879. In 1909 he moved his headquarters to the Brooklyn Tabernacle, New York City. Russell was involved in scandals, which somewhat tarnished his reputation, but his sect, nonetheless, flourished. His writings are contained in a series of books under the title Millennial Dawn (6 vol., 1886-1904).

Russell also proclaimed himself as a Prophet of God. Deeper research on Russell’s discovers him as a Mason. An examination of some of the publications of Charles T. Russell would indicate that he had ties with the Masons. He used Masonic symbols on his publications. Russell was buried under a cross and a crown, again Masonic.

Let the Word of God dissect the JW's theology.

Charles Taze Russell was a Mason. The Mason who says he is a Christian must decide who he will serve: the God of the Bible or the god of Freemasonry. He cannot serve both. Ultimately, every Christian who participates in Masonry must ask himself, "What does the Masons teach us to do with Jesus Christ? Most JW say that CT Russell was a mason and later was transformed by God to be used as a vessel to spread the good word. But as you seen early, Russell died a mason. (read 1 John 2:18-19) It's true God used people, all the time. He used Paul and Paul was killer. But he didn’t die one. As a Christian, our founder is Jesus Christ. You won’t find any dirt on Him because He was perfect. The Jehovah's Witnesses' founder is Charles Taze and other leaders. Who would you follow? The perfect man, Jesus Christ or C.T. Russell, a man who died a Mason, something that was clearly not of God.

What the bible says about eternal life:

We are saved by grace. No amount of works can get you eternal life. All Jesus asks of us is that we put faith in Him, make Him our Lord and believe that He is the Son of God who saved us from our sins.
